Wendy Pye has been a freelance photographer for 13 years. Wendy’s work has been published in a variety of national & international newspapers and magazines including The Guardian, Marie Claire, Blue Print and The Big Issue.

I specialize in reportage style photography for weddings & civil ceremonies, which is rapidly becoming the most popular form of wedding photography in the UK today. Reportage photography is similar to photojournalism - it captures an event in a realistic way. Where traditional wedding photography focuses on staged photos, a reportage wedding aims to pictorially capture the spirit and feel of your wedding or civil ceremony as it really is. Laborious photo sessions are kept to a minimum, and the day’s moments are photographed without fuss in an unobtrusive, relaxed style throughout the day.

Each image will tell it's own story, but when combined with all the shots of the wedding a unique and intimate storyboard of your day is created.
I will photograph a selection of black & white and colour shots and you will receive at least 150 photographs, presented in a preview album.
